William C. "Billy' Bauer, 55, of Mooresville, IN, formerly of Monterey, died at his home on January 9, 2025.
Billy was born in Plymouth, IN on October 26, 1969. The son of William E. and Bonnie L. Bauer, Billy was a 1987 graduate of Culver Community High School, where he played basketball, baseball, and football. He attended and earned a bachelors degree in business from Indiana University Purdue University in 1991.
Billy worked for the Fastenal Corporation for over 30 years. He was very involved in his children's sports, spending many weekends and weeknight traveling and coaching them. He was a private person with a generous heart and a thoughtful personality. He will be missed dearly.
Billy is survived by his mother: Bonnie Bauer of Monterey, IN, brothers: Mike (Darla) Bauer of Walton, IN, and Tim (Elise) Bauer of Plymouth, IN, children: Alyssa, Reagan, and Cash, as well as his beloved dog, Teddy, and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William E Bauer, and siblings: Edmund Bauer and Nancy Bauer.
A time of visitation will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Monterey, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST, followed by the Rosary at 1:00 PM. Father Anthony Roland will officiate a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM EST. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
The family suggests that you wear either Notre Dame or IU attire or dress casually.
Memorial contributions may be given in Billy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
