Patricia S. Burke, 73, of Monterey, Indiana passed away on March 25, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born to Paul Stockey and Stephanie Soska on February 15, 1952 in Tinley Park, Illinois. Her family later moved to Knox, Indiana where Pat graduated high school. She then spent many years serving as an EMT for the Culver-Union Township EMS.
Pat fell in love with Don Borer and they committed their lives to one another.
Pat is survived by her life partner: Don Borer of Monterey, Indiana, son: Gabriel (Brooke) Borer of Bringhurst, Indiana, daughters: Megan (Brad) Pike of Morenci, Michigan, Nicole (Marco) Rodriquez of Valparaiso, Indiana, Jessica Hite of Plymouth, Indiana, and Jennifer Bush of Plymouth, Indiana, sister: Phyllis (Billy) Napier of Monterey, Indiana, brothers-in-law: Dave (Mary) Borer of Fayette, Ohio and John (Michelle) Borer of Morenci, Michigan, sisters-in-law: Jan (Russell) Giesler of Rochester, Indiana and Joyce (Marty) Dominique of Angola, Indiana, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Stockey, mother: Stephanie Soska, daughter, Charlotte, brother, Billy Stockey, and sister, Pam Heim.
A time to gather with the family will be held at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9:00 - 10:30 AM EST. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM EST. Burial will follow at Leiters Ford IOOF Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Pat's memory to the Collins-Tasch American Legion Post 399, PO Box 133, Monterey, Indiana 46960.
