Nancy K. Kersey, 87, of Culver, passed away October 9, 2023, at home with her family by her side.
Born on September 9, 1936, Nancy was the daughter of Doyle and Phyllis Morrison. She graduated from Culver High School with the class of 1954. On June 2, 1956 Nancy and Bill Kersey were united in marriage. They shared 43 years of marriage before Bill's passing on February 11, 1999. Nancy retired from Culver Academy after 49 years.
Nancy was known as the Coca-Cola lady! She collected anything and everything Coca Cola.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Vickie (John) Baldwin, and son, Rick (Penny) Kersey, both of Culver, son-in-law, Hoby Smith of Culver, grandson, William Baldwin of Culver, step-grandson, Chad Becker of Culver, step-granddaughter, Mandy Baldwin, 2 step-great granddaughters, brothers, Lawrence (Felicia) Morrison and Don (Eileen) Morrison, sister, Jean (Vern) Coby, sister-in-law, Rosalie Morrison, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill, daughter, Deb Smith, and one brother.
Visitation will be held at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST. Rev. Brenda Hafer will officiate funeral services at 1:00 PM EST. Burial will follow at Burr Oak Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to the American Cancer Society.
