Sadly, beloved Linda L. Clive, 79, of Culver, passed away at home on December 20, 2024, with her loving husband and daughter by her side. She lost her life after a short-lived battle with esophageal cancer and ultimately succumbed to a stroke.
Linda was born July 22, 1945, in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was one of the four children born to James and Miriam (Holley) Grogan. She married and was blessed with three children before it later ended. Linda later fell in love again and married Joe Clive on October 16, 2001 in Gautier, Mississippi. They relocated to Indiana and began life as a blended family.
Linda was known for her humor and penchant to speak with anyone. Her spouse, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her pride and joy in life. She always supported her family any way she possibly could help. She was an avid supporter of Crime TV and Jerry Springer. Her beautiful smile and wacky t-shirts will be dearly missed by those who cherished her deeply.
Linda is survived by her loving husband: Joe Clive of Culver, daughter: Kimberly Deery of St. Petersburg, Florida, son: Eric (Teri) Deery of Plymouth, Indiana, brother: James Grogan of Slidell, Louisiana, sister: Susan (Edward) Herrington of Gautier, Mississippi, grandchildren: Zachary (Shravi) Deery, Nikolas (Grace) Swihart, Hunter (Hayley) Swihart, Sophia Swihart, and Cody Deery, and great grandchildren: Kelanie Deery and Wrenley Swihart.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Todd Deery.
Per her wishes, no funeral service is being planned. A Celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
