Kenneth George Reininga, 81, of Plymouth passed away on November 19, 2023, after a hard-fought battle. He was surrounded by loved ones during his entire battle and kept his spirit high.
Ken was the husband of Cheryl and father to DeAnna, Jill (Derrick), and Kendra, stepfather to Karyn and Ryan, grandfather to Nicole (Jacob), Aidan, Aubrey, and Avery, and great grandfather to Daniella and Kaydden,
He grew up on his family farm in Evansville with his siblings, John, Joan, and Ellen and parents Hildegard and Manfred.
A man of many stories and experiences, he held occupations working with telecommunications, served and got deployed in the US. Army, and ran successful countertop, waterbeds, and bar businesses.
Ken was an avid golfer, softball player, and badminton champion in his younger years and that void was filled by coaching and watching his children and grandchildren play sports in his older years. He never missed a game. Other joys he had were moped and bike riding, bingo playing, gardening, and card playing,
Ken was a man who you could count on, a provider, and one who was up for anything, His humor and laughter always made you feel welcomed and brought joy to the room.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 18, 2024, at the Beach Lodge in Culver.
