Jeffery Robert Heath, 44, unexpectedly passed away in his home in Culver, Indiana, on May 31, 2023.
Born to Jeffrey and Sharon (Newenhouse) Heath on August 16, 1978, Jeff was a lifelong resident of Culver, graduating from Culver Community High School in 1997.
From an early age, Jeff greatly admired the act of creation. Whether it be tagging walls while skateboarding with friends, completing an elegant oil painting, or finalizing a track that he had spent hours mixing, Jeff dedicated his life to art in all forms. His greatest love, though, began in his childhood when Jeff discovered skateboarding. Throughout his youth, Jeff often assured friends and family that he would become one of the professionals, spending hours mastering tricks and building half-pipes.
Jeff's passion for the arts led him to enroll in art school. Although having enjoyed his time there, the birth of his daughter, Sophia, with former spouse, Ali Schuldt, fueled a much greater passion. Following a successful career in real estate, Jeff chose to pursue careers that align with the trades. This included his time at Rochester Metals, Culver Portside Marina, and his 13 year career with ITAMCO (Indiana Tool & Manufacturing Co. Inc).
Jeffery Heath will be remembered for his artistic abilities, selfless attributes, and love of his beloved daughter.
As a doting father, Jeff is survived by his daughter, Sophia Heath of Culver, sisters, Michelle and Kimberly Heath, mother, Sharon Heath, aunt, Mary Raynor, and 3 adored nieces and nephews, Hanna Soto, and Dustin and Devin Ehlinger. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Heath, and grandfather, Robert Heath.
A time to gather with family and friends will be held at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, Indiana, on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm EST. The family requests that those who plan to attend please refrain from wearing black.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations are put toward the continuance of Jeffery's daughter's education and career.
