Harvey R, Podvin, 77, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Millers Merry Manor, Plymouth, Indiana. He was adored as a father, husband, uncle, and friend by the many who knew him.
He was well loved in Culver and could always be found volunteering at the VFW or singing at the Lakehouse Grille on Karaoke nights (Frank Sinatra among his favorites). He was affectionately referred to as Uncle Harvey by locals and fellow karaoke friends. He was well known to offer a ride to Bayonne who needed one to ensure their safety,
Harvey was a man with an insatiable appetite, a love of music, love for country and love of family and friends,
A Celebration of Life event is to be held at the Finley-Shilling VFW Post 6919 in Culver on July 6, 2024 at 1 pm with a reception to follow. Friends and family are invited to attend.
