Charles E. Robbins



June 24, 1962 - December 15, 2024



Chuck E. Robbins, 62, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Chuck was one of six children born to Charles and Pauline (Weaver) Robbins Sumey. He was born in Plymouth, Indiana on June 24, 1962 and grew up in Monterey while attending Culver High School. After high school, he married Kelly Fishburn and they had 2 children together.

Chuck owned KMax Construction and in his free time, he enjoyed mushroom hunting and spending time with family. He was on a pool league for many years and served as past president of the Tri-County Men's Pool League. He was involved in the community through coaching kids' sports, especially the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby, and was a 15-year member of the Koontz Lake Lions Club, currently serving as President.

Chuck is survived by his children: Rhapsody Craig of Culver and Benjamin (Debra) Robbins of Argos, former wife: Kelly Robbins of Culver, father: Charles "Charlie" Robbins of Indianapolis, sisters: Paulette (Doug) Spille of Monticello, IN and Maria (Rob) Flaharty of Pennsylvania, brothers: Phil Robbins of Plymouth and Terry Robbins of Grovertown, grandchildren: Adrian and Connor (Sydney) Craig and Jaxin Robbins. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Steve Robbins.

A time to gather and celebrate Chuck's life will be held at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST with burial to follow at Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Chuck's memory to the Lions Club of Koontz Lake, c/o S Yorko, 11682 E South Ave, Walkerton, IN 46574.
